When an illegitimate ruler clings to power at any cost, even using violence against his own people, some protesters must make a crucial decision.
Minsk, the capital of Belarus, is the scene of the largest protests in history against reigning President Lukashenkos dictatorial regime. This film by Polish director Jan Bluz presents the chilling testimonies of several young people who have witnessed the demeaning and often brutal treatment of participants in non-violent protests. The protagonists of the film have different interests and life stories, but one thing unites them: they face many years in prison in their home country. And so they have made one of the most difficult decisions in their lives to leave Belarus and start a new life in exile. But thousands more Belarusians remain in custody at home.
