Norwid is a unique collection of jazz compositions by Kasia Pietrzko and Maciej Kądziela to the poetry of Cyprian Kamil Norwid interpreted by famous Polish actor, Andrzej Chyra. The album shows the interaction between two artistic spheres: music and words. Subtleties, nuances and breaths that belong to poetry meet here with a truly jazz formula of playing, based on arranged compositions but remains open to improvisation.
