Eyeball Games, in partnership with Immutable, successfully secured $1.5 million in pre-seed funding for the development of their NFT-based game, Eyeball Pool. The fundraising round was led by White Star Capital and featured participation from Polygon Ventures, Ocular, Great South Gate Ventures, and prominent angel investors, with White Star Capital investing from its Ubisoft-backed Digital Asset Fund. The team behind the popular mobile game 8 Ball Pool is behind Eyeball Pool, which aims to modernize the pool gaming experience with Web3 components and complete asset ownership. The game will be released in a few months, with a closed beta test exclusively available to NFT owners before the official mobile launch in Q1 2024.
