Beneath the city streets, a vast network of hidden tunnels stretched from Downtown LA to secret bars, smuggling routes, and even police-protected gambling dens. These tunnels became the lifeline for mobsters, corrupt officials, and enterprising bootleggers, shaping a shadowy side of LAs history.
