November 1940. The Mediterranean war reaches a breaking point as Admiral Andrew Cunningham prepares a daring, untested strike against the Italian fleet at Taranto. Outnumbered and under pressure, he turns to an idea many navies have dismissed: a coordinated night attack using carrier-based torpedo bombers.

As British forces move into position, deception and timing become everything. The Italian fleet sits at anchor, protected by guns, nets, and air defenses. However, cracks in those defenses are beginning to show, and British reconnaissance has been quietly gathering vital intelligence, setting the stage for something unprecedented.

Under a bright moon, slow-moving Swordfish biplanes launch into the night, flying low over the water into one of the most heavily defended harbors in Europe. What follows is a bold, chaotic, and historic strike that will change naval warfare overnight.
