It even has English, which the syntwave version doesnt have, utau is an outdated program, thats why openutau exists, without it you could say that voicebanks would become at the level of lalavoice, i.e. not very accessible, because the newer the operating systems, the more old programs start to break
It doesnt help that utau has its problems, its a fusion of vocaloid and lalavoice (you can see it in the functions), but it also has flaws like the R being used as a break between songs, theres no regular break, if you dont put R, utrau thinks it should keep singing and then chaos can happen and the words will turn into mush
Im saying from what I remember, plug-ins also often have a tendency to not work, I dont know if I was always unlucky, but when I used a plug-in for background music, the music didnt work anyway, so yeah, utau has its problems and moods
Although I want to try to make my voicebank again someday, because you dont have to sing well for utau to sing well, but you have to play it so that everything is consistent, you know, so that there are no problems, it has to be well-matched, because the voicebank may have slight sound problems
So yes, your voicebank can sing better than you, but you have to know how to sing everything in the right tone, and you also have to know the formats, because there are several types of voicebanks, but I wont write too much, there are a lot of guides, and Im not an expert, Im just talking from what I remember from my past attempts
Although Ive noticed that many Polish utau try too hard to sound Japanese and use the wrong voicebank, which doesnt work for languages other than Japanese. Not to mention that the recording method is closer to Japanese than any other, which is why Polish utau sound the way they do. They should be recorded like English/Spanish, otherwise they end up sounding like this. Will it be more work? Yes, but it will sound better and clearer, because right now the best-sounding utau in Polish are the ones from AI (Enunu), and there are still slight accent rasps
So yeah, maybe one day we boring Poles will get an utau that sounds like Polish, not audible Japanese, you know what I mean...
