Ive always been a huge fan of the music from Bleach, both the original series and Thousand-Year Blood War. Shiro Sagisus soundtracks have such a unique atmosphere that I always enjoy coming back to them.
This time I took on On the Precipice of Defeat. My arrangement is based on the On the precipice - orchestra 2022 version from Bleach TYBW. I approached it quite freely, allowing myself to improvise and giving it a more acoustic/symphonic character.
The first half is emotional and lyrical, while the second is darker, heavier, and more tragic. Somehow, whenever I start improvising, my music naturally drifts into darker places... so I guess I still have a lot of darkness left to share with you through my piano.
