Adding a disk to a laptop may not always be possible. The space for data storage always comes to an end. So when buying a laptop, its a good idea to check if you can add an extra disk. In my case I can have 3 disks. 2 SSDs with M2 connector, And 1 HDD or SSD with SATA connector. In my case, I did not run out of space, but I wanted to additionally secure the data with the RIDE 1 matrix. In my case, I could only put the RIDE 1 matrix between two SSDs on the M2 connector. Could not do RIDE matrix with HDD.
