Im Gillian. One day in music class, our teacher, Ms Atkins, said, Folks, we decided to start a band here at school. We have many students who play an instrument. And most are good enough to perform. The only thing were missing is a singer. Everyone looked at each other. When Ms Atkins said, Come on, guys. Im sure some of you can sing. We cant have a band without a singer, I reluctantly raised my hand. I sang a song which everyone loved, and thats how I became the singer of the school band to a round of applause.
