The film is a moving story about Polish Protestant pastor Pawel Chojecki, who was convicted for criticizing the Catholic Church covering up pedophilia, and for calling Polish President Andrzej Duda a coward toward Russia.

There is a upheld law in Poland that is compared by some to the so-called blasphemy law in Islamic countries, where it is forbidden to insult the Quran or Muhammad. In our country this includes among other things, article 196 of the Penal Code on the insult of religious feelings, which is used primarily to prosecute critics of the Catholic Church.

The indictment was prepared by the government prosecutors office, along with a group of hecklers from pro-Russian, anti-Semitic and Catholic circles. The sentence? 8 months of restriction of liberty! After a change of power in Poland, there is hope for a cassation of the verdict, which may be filed by the new Prosecutor General.
