I am Brazilian and I speak Portuguese which is my native language.
Also I have lived in the UK for almost six years and therefore I speak English. French and Spanish I have also learnt while living in the UK.
To learn any language faster one must use it from day one as a tool of communication instead of waiting to be good at it before speaking.
