Second, a new identity is imprinted on the victim through a system of rewards and punishments. Finally, this new identity is further formed and maintained with continued trauma. For this to be effective, the victim must remain unaware of this control, remaining in a state of helplessness. It appears that drugs, sensory overload and multi-generational abuse are commonly used to maintain this state. Research indicates that such trauma can cause permanent physical and psychological changes, making such victims prime candidates for mind control.
