Lara is an 11-year-old girl with a loving father, Juanjo, whom she doesnt see very often but with whom she shares magical moments. However, the one who spends the most time with her and helps her with everything she needs is her mother, Cristina. As the story unfolds, Lara will begin to realize that her father is not really the person she believes him to be.

A story about innocence, love, and the painful moment a child begins to see the truth.

Directors Statement: While watching a film about domestic violence, I realized that stories on this subject are rarely told from the perspective of a child. That insight sparked my desire to explore how children experience and interpret these painful realities. Through Adelfas, I wanted to make the audience reflect on what children go through capturing, from their innocent point of view, the contrast between what they see and what is truly happening around them.
